N-Butane (C₄H₁₀)
N-Butane is used in air quality and environmental monitoring and in analytical chemistry for laboratory control instruments.

Carbon Monoxide (CO)
Carbon monoxide is a component in medical gas mixtures for lung diffusion and calibration gas. It is also used in the packaging of meat, fish and poultry.

Ethylene (C₂H₄)
Used in agriculture to promote crop growth, ethylene gas is injected directly into the soil. It is also used in medicine as an anesthetic.

Applications for Hydrogen Chloride include pharmaceutical synthesis and in the manufacturing of flavors and fragrances.

Isobutane (iso-C₄H₁₀)
Isobutane is commonly used for cooking oil sprays. It is also finding its way into the medical marijuana industry. When combined with propane, it is effective in extracting oils from the marijuana plants.

Methane is used in coffee roasting ovens, malt drying in breweries, dehydration of plant fodder, and powdered milk production. It is also used in annealing kilns for pharmaceutical ampoules.

Used as fuel in many heating applications, propane also powers forklift vehicles and is used as a refrigerant gas. When combined with isobutene, it is used in the marijuana industry to extract oil from the plants.
